Are heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer's, depression, arthritis, diabetes and more diseases we are certain to get as we age? Are you prepared for the fact that you may die of cancer someday? These are all either chronic or fatal diseases, are you really going to just sit there and let them consume your body because that is what has happened possibly to your grandparents, parents or siblings?
The vast majority of people assume that one of these fatal diseases above will extinguish their lives when they are old unless they die young due to an
accident. They figure that as they age their fingers will become more brittle and possibly crippled. Their bones will degenerate resulting in a hump or remaining shorter. Then there is the fear of Alzheimer disease, where they have no memory of|where the memory loss could result in the total black out as to] what has happened in their life or knowledge about what's going on right now.
They possibly foresee themselves becoming more of a burden on their children. Fearing that their children may not be as loving and kind to them as they were to their children when they were young. It's sad to think that sometimes we leave life close to the same condition as we entered, weak and helpless.
I personally would never like to wear diapers, sitting on a wheel chair in the home for the aged, feeling depressed over all I have lost out due to illness. I plan on being healthy till the end. How can I feel so optimistic about all this? As if it will happen to everyone else except me?
I have learned how to extend my life of being a healthy adult. I have read and researched omega 3. This is very nearly the fountain of youth.
Omega 3 can help prevent or help in conditions of so many diseases. You can prevent the onset of heart diseases. It is very effective in strokes, Alzheimer's, diabetes etc. Certain types of cancer such as prostrate, breast or colon cancer can be prevented by adding omega 3 to your diet.
What is omega 3? Simply stating, its a fatty acid that our bodies need and most do not get enough of. Without it, our chances of catching the above diseases are greater.
Where do I get omega 3? Fish is a great source. Cold water oily fish such as salmon, tuna or halibut. Then you can consider English walnuts, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, canola oil, some plants provide omega 3. If you cannot eat fish, and the other items you feel you just don't get enough of, there are plenty of supplements available in the market for you to take. A dosage of 3 grams of omega 3 per day is sufficient. Most of the supplements are available in the form of one gram gel tabs. If you look around, you will find there are many types of supplements available and some even offer you one dose a day.
Take charge of your life. Don't sit there and expect these diseases to take your health away some day. Do something about it and start a daily regime of omega 3 and possibly be healthy for life.
